The Sussex County Land Trust has identified a unique opportunity to acquire an 88 acre property located in Lewes, DE for preservation purposes.  The property is strategically located between Savannah Road and New Road surrounded by high density residential housing.  The property is known as “Ard na Greine” and the property is one of the last large tracts of open space land in the greater Lewes area.  The Sussex County Land Trust has partnered with the Greater Lewes Foundation and recently launched a fundraising initiative and capital campaign to acquire this property in addition to a second property located in the town limits of Lewes.
