Trisha Newcomer is a highly experienced leader with over 25 years of expertise in municipal government, economic development, and community relations. She currently serves as the Director of Economic Development & Community Relations for the City of Seaford, where she manages public communications, oversees major development projects, and works closely with state and federal legislators.

 

Trisha has successfully led initiatives such as the Oyster House Park Master Plan and the Western Sussex Business Campus while securing funding for local projects. She also has extensive experience in marketing, public relations, and city operations, having previously served as the Economic Development & Information Technology Manager.

 

She holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Wilmington University, an A.A.S. in Office Administration Technology from Delaware Technical Community College, and is a Leadership Delaware Fellow. Trisha is deeply engaged in the community, serving on various boards, including the Sussex County Health Coalition and Soroptimist International of Seaford.
