Sussex County Land Trust to Host Annual Meeting on March 28
The Sussex County Land Trust (SCLT) invites the public to its Annual Meeting on Friday, March 28, 2025, at the Clubhouse at Baywood Greens (32267 Clubhouse Way, Long Neck, DE 19966). This gathering provides a unique opportunity to learn more about the Trust’s mission to protect Sussex County’s agricultural, natural, recreational, and historical resources.
In accordance with SCLT’s bylaws, the Annual Meeting serves as an important forum for electing officers, filling Board vacancies, and sharing key updates on conservation initiatives.
Schedule of Events:
- 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM: Closed session for the Board of Trustees
- 12:30 PM: Doors open to the public; light refreshments served
- 1:00 PM: Public Presentation – Community members are encouraged to participate in a public vote, hear about SCLT’s latest projects, and engage in a Q&A session
“This event is a great opportunity for community members to connect with the Land Trust, learn about our ongoing efforts, and explore ways to get involved in preserving Sussex County’s natural heritage,” said Sara Bluhm, Executive Director.
